This CD is an artistic creative representation and interpretation of our ceremonial icaro's (shamanic songs). When we play them live, they are brought acoustic and often with no more than our voices and a guitar. For this CD we amused ourselves by creatively improving the songs with spheres.
This CD can also assist you in learning the lyrics and melodies, which is nice when you come to one of our concerts or singing circles, like a cacao ceremony. Together we join forces and bring light into every dark place. The tone in which the songs are played and written, is the same as the live acoustic versions.

This icaro is an Arkana. A protective icaro, in which we summon the spirits of the water (Yacuruna). Dolphins, underwater creatures, fish, anacondas, and of course the large black water boa. She is called Yana Boa. Yacumama is also a name given to her by the indigenous. In Mayantuyacu (the center of Juan Flores) on the banks of the boiling river lies a large stone in the shape of a snake head; The Yacumama. Here the source of the boiling water emerges. The yacumama is the protector of the water. (this song is an arkana of water)
At the beginning of the song we also call out to the power of the Ucayali River, one of the most powerful rivers of the Peruvian rainforest.
Meditation:
Find a spot by the water. Stand at the edge or possibly in the water. Feel the power of the water. At the start of the song you are slowly taken into the depth of the water. Visualize now a large black Boa that crawls up from your spine and rises above your crown. The Yana Boa hangs over your head like a protective umbrella. Now have your Boa dive into the water and make contact with the healing purifying strength of the liquid. With your mind you make the same movements as the snake in the water and feel how you get rid of all that is no longer needed. Travel to the underwater worlds and visit the Yacuruna (water spirits). Use the element of water to cleanse yourself. When you're done, call back the Boa and let her slide back into your body the same way.

Thank you Maneesh, this is helping through some heavy work! Also I am often dancing to the songs. I really enjoy the menu of instruments and nature sounds…purring cheetah, owl, jungle birds and more. Very beautiful. The native sounds, beats, the ending of the album with the bells is a wonderful crescendo and my favorite. Like a music box :) blessings of ancestors, enlightened realms, and the mothers loving heart! MarieKarla1111
I heard a few of the songs from this album at a sacred sound healing retreat. My favourite tracks are Que Florezca La Luz and Nuestro Mundo. Absolutely stunning music I never get tired of listening. Dj Rise
