Another single from our album 'Opening of the heart'.
We, Marijn De Wit & Juanita Pyl, are both students of the Vegetalismo Shamanism path, meaning we listen to the wisdom of the plants and we translate their music into our songs. A vegetalismo Curandero studies with the plants, by doing lots of diets with certain master plant teachers, to learn from the vibration or spirit (mariri) of the plant and how it behaves in our own body, mind and spirit. This song was created out of gratitude for two great plant teachers: Chullachaqui caspi and Shihuahuaco under the all-seeing eye of Mother Ayahuasca. In 2019, Marijn went on a diet with these two plant teachers. Chullachaqui is the spirit of the shapeshifter. This spirit knows all the inhabitants of the rainforest and can teach you the language of the animals and the plants; a special teacher in curanderismo. The Shihuahuaco is a protector of the body, gives strength and energy, so that the curandero can continue his/her special task and keep the focus on the light.
Language: This song is partly in Amazonian Quechua and Ashaninka. Caspi is simply translated into ‘tree’ in Amazonian Quechua and branch in the Andean Quechua. Runa has the meaning of 'strong' as well as 'spirit'
