"Hovering the Realms" is like hovering through the different realms and feeling the connection between "everything". The spirit of the Chullachaqui is a guide and a teacher to teach us about"shapeshifting". This rainforest spirit protects the rainforest against intruders. He teaches the curandero (a) to communicate with the plant and animal kingdom.
The shaman lets go of his human form and shifts his consciousness to another vehicle; for example in the form of an animal.
This musical 3-part connects us with all kingdoms and their elements. The astral realm, the mineral realm, the viral realm, the vegetable realm, the animal realm, the human realm and the spiritual realm.
FLY HIGH THROUGH THE SKIES WITH THE CONDOR, DIVE DEEP INTO THE WATERS WITH THE SEA BEINGS AND LAND "GOOD" WITH THE FOUR-FOOTERS ON EARTH.
The first basic track is a playful and energetic version in which Juanita and Marijn use their voices to direct the "atmosphere" of the Mariri of the song: Icaros and ceremonial improvisations in contact with the spirits of the different realms. At the beginning of the song you will hear a short improvisation by Marijn, recorded during a ceremony in the jungle of Peru (Mayantuyacu), while Maestro Juan Flores blows off the other participants in the ceremony with Tobacco (soplado). From there the song is built up further through the spheres. In the middle of the song we bring movement to the spheres and an energetic whirlwind of chakapas (leaf bundle) is created to whip up the rhythm. Djembé, Talking drum, mouth harp and flutes create a hypnotic rhythm as the Peuhl flute screams its way through the landscape. After this we plunge back into tranquility and briefly enter the underwater realms of the Yakuruna; crystal temples deep below the water's surface where ancient wisdom about the water kingdoms is shared with you. This musical painting ends with a profound icaro to put everything down and connect what you feel deeper within you. This icaro sings about different plants and focuses on the pure energy of these medicine plants.

‘Hovering the Realms’ is als zweven (hovering) doorheen de verschillende rijken en de verbinding voelen tussen ‘alles’. De spirit van de Chullachaqui is hierbij een gids en een teacher om ons te leren ‘shapeshiften’. Deze spirit uit het regenwoud beschermt het regenwoud tegen indringers. Hij leert de curandero(a) communiceren met het planten-en dierenrijk. De sjamaan laat zijn menselijke gedaante los en verplaatst zijn bewustzijn naar een ander voertuig; bijvoorbeeld in de gedaante van een dier.
Dit muzikaal 3-luik verbindt ons met alle rijken en hun elementen. Het astrale rijk, het minerale rijk, het virale rijk, het plantenrijk, het dierenrijk, het mensenrijk en het spirituele rijk.

De basistrack is een speelse en energetische versie waarbij Juanita en Marijn hun stemmen gebruiken om richting te geven aan de ‘sfeer’ of the Mariri van het nummer: Icaro’s en ceremoniële improvisaties in contact met de spirits van de verschillende rijken. Aan het begin van het nummer hoor je een korte improvisatie van Marijn, opgenomen tijdens een ceremonie in de jungle van Peru (Mayantuyacu), terwijl Maestro Juan Flores de andere deelnemers aan de ceremonie met Tobacco afblaast (soplado). Van daaruit wordt het nummer verder door de sferen opgebouwd. In het midden van het nummer brengen we beweging in de sferen en wordt een energetische wervelwind van chakapa’s (bladerbundel) gemaakt om zo het ritme op te zwepen. Djembé, Talking drum, mondharp en fluiten brengen een hypnotiserend ritme teweeg terwijl de Peuhl-fluit zich een weg doorheen het landschap schreeuwt. Hierna duiken we weer de rust in en komen we even in de onderwaterrijken van de Yakuruna terecht; kristallen tempels diep onder het wateroppervlak waar oude wijsheden over de waterrijken met jou worden gedeeld. Dit muzikaal schilderij eindigt met een diepgaande icaro om alles neer te leggen en datgene wat je voelt dieper in jou te verbinden. Deze icaro bezingt verschillende planten en focust zich op de pure en zuivere energie van deze medicijnplanten.
